What would an All Faces Weekend be without an appearance by fellow Faces disciples the Black Crowes? Their affinity for this weekend’s heroes is pretty well-known: The Faces brand of raucous blues boogie is possibly the Crowes’ most recognizable influence, Chris Robinson’s stage persona is basically just his best Rod Stewart imitation and at least six Faces songs have appeared on a Black Crowes setlist. They are:
- “Glad and Sorry” (7 times)
- John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy” (30 times)
- “Miss Judy’s Farm” (3 times)
- “Stay With Me” (natch, but only once)
- “You’re So Rude” (once)
- “Three Button Hand Me Down” (twice)
Both instances of “Three Button Hand Me Down” were back in December of 1990. This recording is probably from the December 5th show.
